Here’s an update on my journey! I want to thank you all for your support, encouragement, donations and prayers. It means so much to me. God is so good and faithful! God has shown himself many times that he is so faithful and a provider and he meets my every need. I have been very blessed during fundraising such as someone anonymously gave me $1000 and my family friend also gave me $1000 which met my second goal by the end of December. So grateful for my other friends and family for donating to me as well. My goal is to be fully-funded by August 1st, 2021. As I put my faith and trust in God during fundraising and preparations has given me so much peace in the process. I remain prayerful, thankful and praise God for all the donations that came in so far and for all the donations that will come.
What I’ve learned so far during fundraising is to lean more into trust and continue to rest in him. The verse that comes to mind is Proverbs 3:5. “Trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not on your own understanding.” As I lean more into trust I feel God’s presence overflow with so much joy and comfort. I am so thankful for what God is doing and will do.
God’s timing is right. I believe God has definitely prepared me for such a time as this. I am so grateful for this moment that I am able to go all in with Jesus and serve with many ministries in different countries this year to bring hope and healing. I’m so glad that the time has finally come to start this journey after first hearing about the World Race eight years ago during a student mission’s conference. During the season of waiting with God for eight years has taught me so much about my identity in Christ. I was able to grow more in my faith and my relationship with God and build confidence in sharing my faith.
I believe that God has equipped me to embark on this adventure. God has prepared me for the right time to go. I’m constantly reminded of how wonderful our Heavenly Father is. My heart is so full of excitement as I prepare to go on the World Race, to tell people about Jesus and to share his love wherever I go. I’m so blessed that our faithful God has called me to go on this adventure.
